In the summer of 2017, I experienced one of the best seasons of my life – summer in London! I miss my study abroad so much and I wanted to finally write about one of the day trips we took one weekend – to Brighton, England. This post is more of a photo diary than a travel guide since we just did a lot of walking around.
Brighton is a seaside town – it could be great for swimming if we hadn’t been there on such a gloomy day! The highlight of Brighton is definitely the Brighton Palace Pier which is similar to Brooklyn’s Coney Island or the Santa Monica Pier. Their town is very fun to walk around and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to poke your head into. We were being pretty cheap so we ended up just grabbing lunch at a fish and chips place near the pier and snacks from a Sainsbury’s. But here is all of the sights to see!
It took us about an hour and a half to travel from London to Brighton! Our ticket from Trainline was about £16 if I remember correctly. We left later in the day, probably around 11am-12pm and arrived around 1pm.

That’s it! One day in Brighton.
