My Life As Lora is a passion project. I do it because it brings me joy. But, it hasn’t actually done that in a while. As you may notice from my site, I often take large breaks, prioritizing everything else before my blog. It became something to put on the backburner instead of to invest into.
So, it’s time to shift gears and re-brand.
My Facebook page for the blog said, ” My Life As Lora is a lifestyle blog about being a college student and all of the caffeinated adventures and challenges that go along with that.” but I felt like my blog never actually fit into that. I was trying too hard to force myself into the travel niche.
Don’t get me wrong – I love being a go-to for travel recommendations. However, the travel blogs and vlogs are so time consuming and honestly, were becoming more of a chore. I am so behind on them and it feels like a giant weight on my shoulder.
But my life has changed. I graduated. I moved 1200+ miles back home. I’m currently unemployed.
I want my blog to reflect that version of me. I want to be able to share the ups and the downs and everything in between on here.
So, what does that look like?
My Life As Lora will continue to have travel guides – when I feel like writing them. However, it will now be more about:
- Applying for jobs
- (Hopefully) interviewing for jobs
- Time management
- and everything else that comes along with taking figuring out this whole adulting thing.
I know this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m hoping that my new posts rejuvenate my love for my blog and YouTube, and maybe bring in a new audience along the way.
My new bio will be found across all of my platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Follow me to stay tuned for different updates across those platforms.
Until next time,
